About
I was born into an untraditional family that was doing its best to love God and people. That's pretty much still true of me today. I've always cared more about why things are the way they are, and I want to find out for myself instead of just accepting what I'm told.
At five years old I was on my family's job sites in overalls, carrying bricks. I grew up working hard, and I still do. I love it. Can't help it. Spirituality and real estate were my start and my childhood training. I paid my way through Missouri Southern State University with a commercial window washing company called Mr. Squeegee.
After graduating, I spent years training leaders and managers in human behavior and communication at companies like Boeing, Kaiser Permanente and Microsoft, earning coaching, negotiation and Fierce Conversations certifications along the way. I also studied at Calvary Chapel School of Ministry. Over the years I've been a pastor, a church planter, a window washer, a wheelchair salesman, an internationally recognized supplement MLM salesman and recruiter, and, since 2004, a mortgage lender.
Today I still do real estate loans for work, and I teach spiritual principles every chance I get. I live in Fountain Valley, California with my amazing boys and my smoking hot wife. I have ten siblings from a crazy mixed family. I cried like a baby at The Notebook. Sci-fi movies are the best because they're the closest to reality. And I live my life reminding myself that what I have is what I have chosen, even when I don't see it.
